I bought the David Velasco books and got them last week and just can't put them down !! I have been doing hair 20 years and got serious about hair color about 12 years ago, this education is the best out there bar none !!! So if you have been doing color for many years & think you might no all there is about hair color my advice is to purchase these books and you will see just all that we need to learn is in his education !!! Thanks David for giving us the info. you've learned through the years !!!

"no if you mix 10 vol and 20 vol, you reduce the amount not add to it. you would get 15 vol. There is no way to get 30 vol from 10 and 20. It can't be made grreater than what you start with. "

"This is incorrect! Peroxide volume always goes down when mixed - never up. The only way to have it go up is with a stronger peroxide. Use a hydrometer to be absolutely sure. "
